Rita Finnegan:
Oil paintings
Watercolors
Prints

Rita died September 23, 2024. The focus of this site has shifted to give a more complete understanding of the legacy she leaves behind through her work. Rita delighted in uncovering humble pleasures, both in her work and her personal life. Our home is stuffed with her eccentric and eclectic discoveries. It is Rita's world and I am happy to dwell in it.

Navigating This Site
This site was originally constructed to share and market  Rita's vision of the world around her. The original format allows prospective buyers to investigate the images more fully; clicking on the image reveals details like medium, dimensions, year of facture, price, etc. The pages since added do not share those capabilities. Professional artists present a persona to the public. It is hoped that presenting additional background works to present the viewer with the person Rita Finnegan rather than just her persona as a professional artist. The person is more surprising. It is further hoped that this expansion allows  viewers to uncover for themselves a humble treasure.
